On 2nd Sep 2011, the shortlist finalists for the 2011 Drapers fashion awards were unveiled, and we’re proud to announce that Jules B have been nominated for 3 awards, running for Independent Menswear Retailer of the Year, Independent Womenswear Retailer of the Year and Small E-tailer of the year.
The Oscars of the fashion retail world
The Drapers award has been described as the ‘Oscars of the retail world’ so it’s a really exciting prospect to be recognised and nominated. With the awards due to take place at the prestigious, posh Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane on November 16th, they celebrate today’s best in fashion retail; it also recognises and celebrates the talent behind the nominated brands.
Drapers Magazine delivers weekly key trends and information about what’s happening in the UK retail market. The Drapers Awards were launched in conjunction with Drapers online site and magazine, to recognise the people and businesses that have risen to the challenge of the past retail year. There are various categories, judged by a team of Drapers journalists and a panel of high profile experts from across the fashion sector. New categories such as E-tailer of the year have been recently added, to adapt to ever changing world of fashion retail.
