London has finally released its fashion round up last weekend for those all important Spring/Summer 13 campaigns. It’s an exciting time for us at Jules B finding out what’s going to be popular, what trends will be gracing the catwalks and what to expect from our competitors!
With our very own Nicole Farhi creating a preppy, relaxed collection which we love, mixing the classic stripes with a loose and contemporary fit! Topman’s collection was loud, very 90’s with a sporty edge, also mixing vintage 60’s prints on shirts and jackets to create its usual unique and interesting attire!
One of Jules B’s favourites Hackett stuck to what they know best with a spring/summer twist, keeping tailored trousers and blazers but mixing in the summer sunshine with bohemian prints and leaning to a more looser fit.
We were also pleasantly surprised by Oliver Spencer who’s collection was very ‘British’ and very much like our Jules B style, with smart cut jackets and matching shorts and trousers with a pop of colour every now and again and not to mention the amazing shoes, also using a variety of different models to showcase the amazing collection!
We also loved Christopher Shannon’s collection, more so for the hints of tribal and aztec prints which made the shoes and shirts! Also the accesories used were unique and exsperimental, we loved the satchel backpacks!
Overall menswear for Spring/Summer 2013 is not only different but uplifting, with bohemian style prints and loser fitting garments it is bound to bring the sunshine to JulesB in 2013!
